dear daddy,
through all the times i've cause you stressed, the times i've talked back, the times i've not been a good daughter to you i just wanted to say i'm sorry and that i love you. it's really hard to tell you i love you in person, or over the phone. the only times i have the guts to say it is when i write it down or to myself. but that shouldn't matter because i'm sure i don't have to tell you, for you to know that i do. so i just wanted to say happy birthday and many more to come. i love you daddy.
